The BTC supports and signs the coalition for sustainable business travel

On Tuesday 24 January from 15:00 to 17:00, the Monnaie de Bruxelles will host the official launch of the coalition for more sustainable business travel, in the presence of the Minister of Mobility, Georges Gilkinet. You are welcome to attend.

Belgium has announced its goal of carbon neutrality for 2050, with a first step of CO2 reduction for 2030, that is tomorrow.

The project "coalition for a more sustainable business tourism" was initiated less than a year ago and has brought together on several occasions, in working groups, representatives of small and large Belgian companies, transport companies and also some universities.

The objective of this coalition is to give visibility and support to companies and organizations that seek to reduce the environmental impact of their employees' business travel, notably through a charter of commitment and the sharing of best practices.

We have been invited to participate in these working groups to give our opinion. More sustainable business travel means evaluating the best cost/benefit solution, both financially and sustainably, and our sector plays a critical role in this process.
Our input has been appreciated and even retained.  The world is changing, the constraints are real, and we must actively participate and intervene intelligently in these changes.
